Part:BBa_K2042015
LDH* Generator
This is the sequence of a D-lactate deshydrogenase that can efficiently use NADPH and NADH as cofactors. The enzyme is under control of a Pseudomonas putida constitutive promoter and RBS. This composite part was designed to produce lactate in order to increase lactate fraction used as substrate in the Ploylactic acid (PLA) production. The part ends with the BBa_B0015 terminator.
